Wild Mustang Federal Unit Overview

Location and Size:

Upon completion of the discovery well Lost Soldier Oil and Gas will hold the majority interest in the Wild Mustang Federal Unit, covering over 24,000 total acres in central Wyoming. This area at the foot of Green Mountain, Wyoming, also includes several state and fee leases.

Expansive Lease Acreage:

In addition to our holdings within the unit, Lost Soldier Oil and Gas possesses over 6,000 acres of lease acreage beyond its boundaries, expanding our exploration potential.

Unique Geological Features:

The Wild Mustang Federal Unit boasts unique geological formations and characteristics, including formations with lateral continuity and overpressured environments. This region is surrounded by active oilfields, and these characteristics extend into our unit. What distinguishes us is that while the surrounding oilfields have experienced geological changes in the past, our basin remains relatively undisturbed. Consequently, the Wild Mustang Unit offers deeper horizons, higher formation pressures, and less disturbed reservoirs.

Green Mountain Federal #4 Discovery Well:

A noteworthy achievement in our exploration journey is the Green Mountain Federal #4 discovery well. It has identified four significant gas horizons, currently undergoing thorough testing to realize their potential.

Guided by Industry Professionals:

The development of the Wild Mustang Federal Unit is led by Mike Pinnell, a seasoned geologist with 44 years of experience. His dedication and vision have played a pivotal role in advancing our exploration efforts. Our Reservoir evaluation team has processed over 200 miles of seismic which indicates our unit has regionally pervasive reservoirs. We have developed a comprehensive 3D model of our geology, reservoirs and resources.
